Tis the Season to be Jolly

 Simple gifts from my manita.

 Lots of things has happened to me during the past year but I'll write more about that in my new year post. Anyhow, since December 16,2012 my yuletide season has began, why? It's because it is the first day of the nine mornings or in the Philippines it is referred to as "Simbang Gabi". Every year since I was in 4th year high school, it became our tradition to complete the nine days, almost every year I got to complete it all and make my wish. It's been said that once you complete the nine mornings, your wish will be granted, and so far, those wishes came true, but of course those wishes also needed my effort, it was therefore 50% effort (which in my own I give a 200% effort) and 50%divine intervention [for me]. Anyhow, this year I missed the 8th morning because I had a hard time getting up because I was not feeling well, but I still made my wish though. Hopefully, that wish would still be granted. ^^,

 Also, last Saturday me and my college barkada had our mini get together, we ate, exchanged gifts we our manita(s) and off went to a karaoke bar to sing our hearts out. It's a simple get together but it was quite meaningful. This is the first time we had celebrated such event when the three of us in our group are finally Certified Public Accountants and since we were not in school anymore, we rarely see one another that long.

The funny event that happened during our exchange gifts was that, whoever gave you the gift is also the one your supposed to give your gift to, and we all were amazed again, because we had always been this partnership in our group and oh well, that was the order of exchanging gift.

I gave my monita a customized shirt, which she loved and in return she gave me a note book, our daily bread, and a customized tumbler.

I am not that materialistic, therefore the effort made in giving me the customized tumbler really touched me giving the fact that I am a YongSeo Addict.

I will not make this post any longer. I'm gonna follow this up with a Christmas post later in the evening ^^,

My Korean Icon Contest

KTO Miss Flower Spring Review

Writing another blog and this is again Korean-related, it has been a while since I wrote my last blog so here I go... I am new at giving out reviews so pardon me if ever you see flaws in my reviews, but basically these are my opinions for the video made entitled Miss Flower Spring. And I would actually like to dissect this review into three parts: the music used, cinematography and story-line. REVIEW: Music The music is very relaxing and it is really giving that feel of warm passion of two young people. It makes a person's heart beat. Even though this is a mute skit, both the actions and the music coincided together which pretty much helps the viewer understand the concept of the story itself.
